It is very important for everyone to voice your opinion. Please write to wildlife@dnr.state.mn.us and lou.cornicelli@dnr.state.mn.us to support the Quality Deer Management pilot project introduced by legislature on 03-09-2004. We also urge you to have other family members write in as well (both hunters and non-hunters) if they are old enough to hunt and believe in the QDM concept. This is our chance to really make a difference. We firmly believe that the concept will grow once we get it started. If antler point restrictions along with increased doe harvest is something that you want in your area contact your local Senators. Mark Holsten the new big game commissioner stated that for any type of Quality Deer Management regulation to be implemented it had to be done by Legislation so let them know what you want!
